Challenge
Productivity tools assume you're one kind of person. A founder gets a CRM. A writer gets a notes app. A reader gets a reading list. I'm all of them at once: four ventures and nine areas of life, with deal pipelines sitting next to half-finished verses and ideas from books I can't stop thinking about. Every app held one slice, and none of them talked to each other. The paradoxes in my life were never the problem. The problem was that nothing let them exist in the same place.
What I Built
Anima is that place. It's a life graph: every venture, goal, task, and area of life is a node, and everything links back to where it belongs. Nothing has to be filed under one identity at the expense of another. It holds the four ventures I run and nine areas of personal life, side by side and on equal footing. A goals system breaks each goal into concrete steps and syncs them to my task list, so a long-term ambition and today's to-do are one thread instead of two apps. The Daily Battle, a quadrant planner, carries unfinished work forward instead of letting it disappear. The result is that a deal deadline and a creative goal show up in the same morning plan, under the same rules. The connections that used to live only in my head now live in the system, where I can see them and build on them.

Process
Anima started as a voice-first assistant. It worked, but the voice layer was hiding the real idea, so in September 2026 I tore it down and rebuilt from scratch around the graph itself. I kept the data, cut everything that wasn't load-bearing, and shipped in short cycles with AI coding agents as my build team. Each feature earned its place by getting used the next morning.

Outcome
Anima is where every thread I'm holding finally meets. It's the system I plan my days in, the place my ventures report to, and the proof of the idea behind everything on this site: the best work happens in the space between.
